1995 Porsche 993 Coupe-41k miles!

1995 Porsche 993 Coupe- 41k original miles

The 993 is the ultimate air cooled 911, the challenge is finding the right one.  This is the right one…

This particular 993 was special ordered by its original owner at Rusnak Porsche in Thousand Oaks, California.  The car was delivered December 30th 1994 with just 22 miles on the odometer. This owner loved and cherished the car until I acquired it in 2012. I sold it to a local customer and am thrilled to have it back. This car is that true top 1% example. If you are looking for a future PCA preservation class car, this is it. It has never been damaged in any way and is wearing 100% original paint including the front bumper cap, which you never see.

Here is how the car is equipped:

Base Price $59,900

Polar Silver Metallic- $1036

Porsche Floor Mats Black- $125

17” Light Alloy Wheels- $1378

Hardback Sport Seats- $730 (uber rare and valuable $$$)

Console CD Storage- $800

Colored Crest Rim Caps- $214

Tiptronic Transmission- $3,265

Total MSRP- $68,173

The most recent owner is a long time PCA member who has restored Porsche's to be competitive at the National level. He is a fanatic for small details. Over the past few months he has lavished attention on fine tuning the final 5% that takes a car from excellent to extraordinary. The list is long but its down to the minutiae such as sourcing the little rubber stop that keeps the wipers from colliding with each other that is ALWAYS missing, replacing the always torn rear spoiler curtain, he even had the factory radio rebuilt by a Becker expert. I am happy to go through the list with any potential buyer, suffice it to say all the little stuff is attended to and sorted. It is current on all service and recently had a new fuel pump and had the Porsche factory wiring harness recall completed at the local Porsche dealer.

Prior to selling the car in 2012 I had the following done:

Full Major Service including 12 new sparkplugs, 2 new distributor caps, 2 new rotors, new air filter, new oil and filter, 2 new cabin air filters, new fuel filter, new wiper blades.

New Battery

New front and rear hood struts (I hate that most fall on your head…)

All new drive belts

Brake fluid flush which revealed the car had the common issue with the ABS pump so we installed a new master cylinder and rebuilt ABS pump.

New Fuel pump

All total $4,594.

If you read the buyers guides you will find that most 993’s you purchase will need a few thousand dollars to bring them up to speed. This car was so nice that I figured I would do it all up front so you can consider it perfect and ready to go. The car is bone dry underneath and literally is the tightest driving 993 I have driven in a LONG time. If you can recall what they drove like new, that is this car!

The body, paint, trim, glass, wheels, etc. are without reproach. Even the front bumper which suffers the brunt of the abuse is like new on this car. The car is wearing 100% original paint as verified by a paint meter. The interior still smells new, the carpet has the like new nap that you can never duplicate after someone has cleaned the carpets even once. It still smells new. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. This would make a great Porsche preservation class car starting in 2016.

The 1995 993’s are generally considered to be the one to own since they do not have the problems with the secondary air injection and subsequent check engine light issues the 96-98 cars have.

This car comes complete with all the original books, original purchase invoice, service history, keys, complete tool kit, air pump and more.  Go ahead and find another one like it!
