Another car is live on Bring a Trailer! This gorgeous 928S4 is going to find a new home this week. If you are a Porsche fanatic, you OWE it to yourself of own a 928 at least one time in your life. True Story: I have put more miles this year on my 928 than EVERY single other Porsche I own (except the family car Cayenne) PUT TOGETHER.... Does that tell you what I think of the 928??

Now that the auction is over if I am starting to look for a 928 what year is best from a mechanical standpoint? I did bid on this car shown here(smote911) but my shipping fees were going to be around $3500 plus BAT fees so I will just sit back and keep my eyes peeled. Such a nice example for sure!

One more question and I'll leave you along about 928s! I have always said I would only have manual Porsches. Well, look at me...I bidded on this automatic 928. There are alot of manual 928s and I keep reading that they provide more of a luxurious, touring ride. Do you think stay with my manual "rule" or is this car OK as an automatic. I know personal preference will be the biggest consideration but I actually seemed ok with this being an automatic. Maybe I'm just getting older!

Shocking News… NOT all Porsche sellers are equal… sure I could just shine em’ up and take amazing filtered photos BUT that’s not me! My cars go thru a process to be “CVLC” quality.

2002 996TT X50 w/ 14k miles just arrived. SPECTACULAR car but I will still spend $10k+ to dial it in: full major service, all fluids, filters, plugs, drive belts, 4 brand new Michelins, full detail, paint correction, chassis dry ice, even all new wiper blades. Will I get my investment back? Maybe not in $$ but in the satisfaction of knowing I did it right!

For fun check out the amazing option codes on this one: X50, XAF Aero kit, Sport Seats, Sport wheel and again just 14k miles. Sad but true this one won’t be cheap….😀

Thoughts on the Factory Widebody C4?

Great little video. The frunk drain plug’s. The stress fractures on the rear spoiler. The foam in the front valance. All the little issues. That I was wondering about. Oh the tool kit. Huge point. Is there any ware to order the original tool kit and pump.???? And we’re are they located I am assuming in the spare wheel.???? 1990 c4

It’s funny actually to recall how prior to the “Singer effect” this generation of 911 was almost unloved as much as 996 were not that long ago. For quite some time it was either 993s or long hoods. It continues to amaze me how quickly different generations of 911s fall in and out of favor. The key to remember is they’re all Porsches and are all well engineered and designed based on the budgets provided in the day.

Loved the video. Always learn something new.

Love to listen to you blather on about cars.

Love them!

That was cool!

The greatest generation.
