Have you always loved this car? I always have and am thrilled to offer someone the chance to buy a Z3 with just 49k original miles for under $10k, what a deal. This particular Z3 has lived a pampered life as the previous owners toy, living in a garage under its fitted cover, on a battery maintainer just waiting for the perfect weather day.  As such it is literally almost flawless, you will be shocked at the condition, it looks 2 years old not twenty-two! It is finished in Atlantic Blue over sand leather with a sand top. It has the preferable manual top, as the power top on Z3’s is one of the most problematic items, and the manual top is a one hand operation even while sitting in the driver’s seat. 

The body is perfect and the paint is beautiful with almost none of the imperfections that one would expect of a 22 year old car. It is wearing 100% original paint as verified by a paint meter, has never been damaged in any way and has a clean Carfax. The interior is likewise spotless, what more could you want. 

I personally have driven this car 800 miles, including a fun date night with my wife to Walla Walla. It runs and drives spectacular and everything works including the air-conditioning, cruise control, stereo, etc.  The car has been fully detailed, I just installed 4 new tires (not shown) and it is ready to go.

The car comes complete with both keys, all the books and manuals, the OEM rear window cover, the OEM Tonneau cover, OEM Window sunshade and a fitted cover. 

If you are thinking about a Z3, the 1.9 with a 5-speed manual is the one to buy. These motors are nearly bulletproof and return 35+ mpg on the highway and high 20’s around town. They are very well balanced and are actually the preferred Z3 by the editors of BIMMER magazine, if you are interested I will send you the article. Having owned countless BMW’s over the years it seems crazy to pick the least powerful BMW’s as one of my favorites, but you truly have to drive this car! The 1.9 liter motor makes great power, the centerline of the engine is behind the front wheels and the car only weighs 2700lbs. So it manages to feel light on its feet in a way no modern BMW does. Call me a purist but this is the essence of the traditional sports car, not blazingly fast, but quick with go kart handling, sign me up!
