The Cayman is one of my favorite later model Porsche’s, as it is a pure drivers car. When Porsche introduced the Boxster in 1997 I was in love with the driving dynamics and mid-engine layout, but for me It wasn’t until 2006 when Porsche introduced the Cayman that I could finally have the car I wanted as I am an affirmed fixed roof type of guy.  I got a very early Cayman and put it thru its paces on my favorite road back in 2006 (top secret… hint if you have attended 8998FEST or 993FEST I have taken you on it…) and the car simply blew my mind! So absolutely unflappable, just enough power to be very entertaining yet you have to work the gearbox and the upper limits on the tach… Fabulous! This car takes me back, what a machine!

This particular Cayman was purchased new at Stevenson Porsche in Denver, CO on May 6th 2006 and stayed with its first owner until I purchased it in October of 2011 for a great local client of mine. I got the car back in on trade for a Macan in 2017, sold it to another PCA member in Portland, got in back in 2020 and its BACK. I am SO thrilled as I LOVE this car and having known EVERY owner personally, I can attest for how it has been cared for. This is NOT you typical multi-owner example that has been bought and sold at the auction and treated as such, it has been a cherished object since birth. Are you the next owner?

The paint is 100% original as verified by paint meter and there has NEVER been any paintwork of any kind. The Carfax is of course clean. It has had a 3M clear film on it since new, so it has done its job of protecting all of the frontal surfaces. Suffice it to say the car stands up to close scrutiny!

Stepping into this car the full leather instantly makes this car a rich and inviting place to be. If you sit in a regular Cayman it’s a nice car, but once you sit in a Cayman bedecked in full leather there is no comparison! I simply LOVE the Cocoa interior; it simply POPS on this car! This car has never been smoked in, had kids or pets in it, nor even been ate in! I would challenge the pickiest person to scrutinize the interior and prove me wrong!

Mechanically the car is without reproach and runs and drives just as an excellent example should. In fact the current owner just did some of the important preventative maintenance including the water pump and thermostat, replaced the drivers side catalytic converter and even had the HVAC controls refinished (a known weak spot on these). The second owner wanted a more robust exhaust note, so he changed the rear muffler with the Fabspeed Maxflo Stainless system. This system dramatically improves the sound of the car, yet adds almost no additional noise in the cabin and looks beautiful. Best of all its fully emissions legal!
