2012.5 Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet-GT Silver on Carrera Red, PDK, loaded $135k MSRP, 1-local owner, 29k miles

Color combination is EVERYTHING when specifying a car. For example if you ordered this car in the standard Platinum Silver with Black interior it would just be ho-hum… Specify it with the $3,140 more expensive GT Silver and step up an additional $4,840 for the Carrera Red Full Leather and now you have a car that makes a STATEMENT! To me it harkens back to a gorgeous 1959 356A Cabriolet that I have always lusted after in this color combination, Love….If you are going to buy a Porsche, why would you want boring???

This particular 991 has a great history as it was special ordered new by a great client of mine. Rewind to 2012 and my client was a happy owner of a gorgeous 1983 911SC Cabriolet and he wanted to move to a more modern expression of 911, yet be classically elegant. To achieve that goal he sold me his 911SC and special ordered this car. He asked my opinion at the time on the build and I gave it my approval, I especially like his specifying the deviating black carpets, a nice contrast from the Red as well as the sport seats!
