2012 Porsche Panamera 4-29k miles!
I am often quite opinionated when it comes to cars, that probably doesn’t come as a surprise to many of you… When Porsche launched the Panamera I wasn’t one of the people that hated the car simply because it wasn’t a traditional Porsche. I just simply didn’t see how it would fit into my life. As a busy business owner, husband and father of 4, I need cars to be one of two things: utilitarian or pleasurable. Most days my need for utilitarian trumps the need for pleasurable and the sports car stay tucked into the garage. I appreciated what Porsche was doing, essentially creating a 4-passenger luxury car that had the DNA of a Porsche sports car, but it didn’t haul my whole family, nor could I shove a leaking 911 motor into the hatch. Luckily last week I found the perfect situation for this Panamera and it SHINED…
My 17-year old son is participating in the coming of age ritual of choosing a college. Last weekend we headed east to Spokane to check out Gonzaga (GO ZAGS!) and then into Helena, MT to visit Carroll College. Joining our crew was a good friend and his daughter. So imagine a 1,400-mile road trip, over 72 hours that included a plethora of gorgeous and lightly patrolled Montana highway. I couldn’t think of a better car for this trip. Fast, comfortable, spacious and fuel efficient to boot! Even the teens taking up the rear accommodations raved about the space and comfort, that is impressive considering my son is 6’4”. Being as though it is a Porsche, I better not just regale you with stories about space and comfort, the good news is the Porsche DNA is alive and well. It literally is a 4-door 991! Putting the car into Sport Plus stiffened up the adaptive air-suspension, tightened up the steering and let the PDK know that I meant business. Let’s just say the Montana 2-lane is no match for this car!
Ok, enough rambling. Let’s talk about this specific car. It was sold new here locally at Porsche of Bellevue and my client purchased it from them as the 2ndowner. The car is heavily optioned, which is quite hard to find on a Panamera 4. Here is the build:
- Dark Blue Metallic- $790
- Premium Package- 14-way power seats w/ memory, heated seats front and rear, heated steering wheel, Bi-Xenon lights w/PDLS, Servotronic steering- $4,640
- Extended Range Fuel Tank- $400 (LOVE this almost a 700 mile range!)
- Auto dimming mirrors- $420
- Adaptive Air Suspension- $3,980
- 20” 911 Turbo II wheels- $3,770
- Park Assist F&R w/Camera- $1,255
- Sport Chrono Package Plus- $1,480
- BOSE Audio- $1,440
- Satellite and HD Radio- $1,120
Total Original MSRP- $100,070
The Panamera is immaculate inside and out, is current on all services and I just had 4-brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sports (N-SPEC) tires installed. It comes complete with all the original books and manuals, 2-factory keys and the window sticker.
It has just 29k miles and is ready for your next adventure! I just sure wish somehow my family fit into a 4-passenger car, anyone need a spare teenager?
