Past Inventory

On a recent late evening I was perusing the Porsche New Car Configurator and I was SHOCKED to see that they have added some new options…. German Air in the tires: $845, Self Cancelling turn signals- $610, Opening passenger window- $1,185….. Ok, I jest but I sure seems like Porsche has figured out that selling options is a MONEY Maker….
On this particular 991 Carrera 4S, Porsche made some money…. The good news is that as a used Porsche, options are desirable, are fun to have, BUT they can be bought for pennies on the dollar. This car is a case in point, it has some epic options that I would not likely have been willing to pay for… but if they are included at less than half the original price? Heck yes!
Here is how this car is optioned: $40,110 in options…ouch!

On top of the options the original owner installed PPF on ~70% of the car (full hood, fenders, doors, rear quarters, front bumper, mirrors, etc) and installed UV blocking tint to all the windows to protect that gorgeous paint and full leather! Speaking of paint, thankfully I am a MUCH better Porsche enthusiast than I am a photographer, as I really failed to capture this color well. Mahogany is such a gorgeous shade, a night it would appear nearly black, but in direct sunlight it is a warm, rich red/brown that is just striking! Couple that with the fully stitched two-tone interior and you have a knockout.
Lest you think that the above options are mere decoration, it has some really key performance goodies; namely Porsche Sport Exhaust, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats and the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC). The combination of these options coupled with the 4S All Wheel Drive system makes a potent combination. The basic formula: bring car up to temperature, find some lonely two lane (doesn’t matter wet or dry!), select Sport mode which activates the better PDK shift map and turn on the sport exhaust and DRIVE! The PDCC transforms this chassis and seemingly takes 300 lbs off the curb weight as it feels SO much sharper than the standard suspension. This IS a drivers car!
Speaking of drivers car…. This example has been used and loved for 50k miles, which means the next owner can just jump in and use the car as intended. Due to loving care and the PPF, the car presents as a much lower mileage example but you get the advantage of a favorable price point.
The car is accident free, has all original paint, clean Carfax and comes complete with both keys, books and a service history. It is current on all service and is ready to go, what are you waiting for?
