A few years ago a good client and friend of mine thought he would insult me by saying “Deep down, Nathan, you are really just a VW guy…”, what he didn’t know was that truer words have never been spoken! I have loved VW’s since my first car at age 14, a 1962 Type 1. To this day my everyday car is a Volkswagen, a 2017 Golf Alltrak. I love the German engineering and how they are able to build a car to a price point that FEELS like a much more expensive car and manages to be engaging to drive. Why would I want to drive a boring car? If you haven’t driven one of these GTi’s, please come in and drive this car. If you leave without a HUGE grin on your face, I will buy you lunch!

This GTi was purchased new at VW of Boise and is the top of the line Autobahn trim level which includes leather, full power drivers seat, keyless entry/start, automatic climate control, power sunroof and a myriad of safety and convenience features. Additional he optioned it with the factory Monster Mats, trunk liner and roadside assistance kit. The best feature is the 6-speed DSG transmission. This is the same technology behind the Porsche PDK and it is simply amazing. It changes gears faster than you can blink, yet other than the auditory cues you can’t feel it at all. The original MSRP was $31,935!

The exterior is 100% original paint and shows no flaws of any kind. The interior is likewise pristine, they are an older couple with no kids or pets, so it looks like nobody has ever been in the car. The Carfax is of course clean and it has been serviced exclusively as the VW dealer. It comes complete with the original window sticker, both keys, all books/manuals, fitted car cover and full service history. Why would you buy one new?
