The frustrating part of catering to an enthusiast crowd is they literally all want the same car…

It goes like this: “I really like the size/aesthetics of the 997 but I am worried about IMS failure, so I think I want a .2. Oh by the way, the PDK is great BUT I am a “purist” so can you make it a 6-speed? In that vein I definitely need sport seats, sport chrono and PASM. Now, I’m not picky but I really want perfect and known ownership history and lower miles, but not too low because I want to drive it. I simply will NOT consider a Targa or Cabriolet! Of course I’m really not that picky…  What do you have?”

I usually just mentally roll my eyes, smile and say “I’ll put you on the list at #1411 who is looking for that….”.
