When selecting a new Porsche one has to decide if they want to make a BOLD statement or a more subtle, nuanced one…. This might be some type of personality test; one person enters the room and everyone knows (good or bad…) that they are present…. the other enters quietly and waits for just the right moment to add the perfectly timed quip, ideally delivered with just enough eloquence that you can’t fully tell if their is a mild hint of sarcasm in the delivery….

It’s wide flanks draped under the rich Night Blue Metallic, its interior swathed in rich natural espresso leather, this 991.2 IS that buttoned down, quiet, intellectual who knows when to deliver the message…. Which personality are you? This particular 991.2 was sold new at Porsche of Bellevue and my client purchased the car as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) not quite 4 years ago with the intention of using the car as his retirement travel companion. Like so many of us, he discovered that his love of cycling worked directly in contrast with said plans; when the day is ideal for driving it is also ideal for cycling, hence just 5,000 miles over the past 4 years. This stunning C4S needs a new home!

I am a big fan of a 991.2 generation cars, especially the 4S variant as it makes the perfect all around Porsche. Importantly Porsche seems to have gotten the formula down pat, literally the list of things to “watch out for” on this generation of Porsche is amazingly nearly zero. We have yet to find the “gotcha”. Couple that with a surefooted but nearly invisible all-wheel drive system and a 420hp turbocharged flat six and you have a car that does EVERYTHING well! I could go on for days…
