2020 Porsche 992 Carrera S Coupe-Dolomite Silver on Agave Green, 7-speed manual, PCCB Brakes, non sunroof, front axle lift, all the right options!

Lately a few words have become commonplace in my world and they make me want to harm people…. “Raw”, “Analog”, “Unfiltered”, “Authentic”…. You know the conversation: “I want a Porsche that is raw, pure, unfiltered, analog… the current XYZ Porsche is too big, too fast, too capable, too removed…”. That conversation I get HOWEVER it is usually being espoused by the same person who I also overhear say things like “I want perfection, am a big fan of PPF and Ceramic Coatings, need modern connectivity, and I am allergic to oil leaks, catastrophic engine failure, and unscheduled repairs.”

I usually just laugh as everything in life is a tradeoff. Modern Porsche has to seemingly do everything: Be weapons grade fast, capable, aligned with the Porsche brand, have cache to both enthusiasts and the general public, function as a viable everyday vehicle that could still do track duty, all while cossetting its occupants in a leather swaddled cocoon of safety, modern technology, and class. Now you ALSO want to it be RAW? Hmmmm…

So here is the party trick… This 992 Carrera S is the closest thing to that perfect compromise that I have run across as of late. What do I mean:

• Sport PASM suspension (more performance oriented choice, -10mm ride height vs. stanadard PASM

• Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes- PCCB- these will pop you eyeballs out of your head on decel

• GT Sport Steering wheel communicating the massive front end grip of this thing

• Full Club Leather in Agave Green- Rich and OH so good…
• Front Axle lift- so one can make the Sport PASM easier to live with day to day!
• Porsche Dynamic Light System- PDLS- Trust me your old school Porsche doesn’t have lights like this! Extend your driving to 24 hours a day!
• Comfort Access, Lake Keep Assist, Seat Ventilation, Ionizer, BOSE Sound- well we all like a little comfort and safety

Sadly this sweet spot Porsche was eliminated for the 992.2, only recently brought back as a “premium” upcharge vs. the PDK equipped 992. This is such a miss on Porsche’s part because real world this IS the 911 that 90% of people should own. It does everything well, yet it still maintains a level of driver engagement that is the reason we all love the brand.

This car comes with a full service history, both keys, all books, and is current on all service. The most recent owner purchased it CPO from our local Porsche dealer and has been enjoying the car.
